Estate settlements and liquidations are our specialty. We welcome all estate activity, including requests from heirs, estate attorneys and trustees. We will travel to any attorney’s office, bank or private residence to evaluate an estate.
This can be an emotional time in anyone’s life. Most families are in need of a non biased professional evaluation of what a collection is worth. This helps set a value for the trustee of an estate. It also provides family members with the information need to enable them to sell the coins, currency and bullion items they have inherited.
Please do not clean or polish your coins or tape and glue any paper currency. This only lowers the value and damages the coins and currency. Dirt, grime, toned surfaces and wear are a natural part of metal and paper aging or be exposed to nature’s elements.
Originality is valuable and important for resale.
Written detailed appraisals are provided. These will satisfy all government requirements for documentation of estate liquidation, for tax purposes.
We work on an hourly rate that is fully refunded if the trustee decides to sell us the collection. We have found over the years that we simply pay more and with a refundable appraisal nobody can meet our level of value and expertise.
