J & F Rubenstein pride ourselves as being full time coin dealers. We are headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina. We are a father (Fred) and son (Jeff) partnership with over 60 years combined experience.

We began our foray into numismatics in the most basic type of collecting-US Pennies. Over the next 30 years this slowly evolved into US Silver and Gold coins, Currency, Treasure Coins, Artifacts and World coins-specializing in Central and Latin America.

We became full time dealers in 1990 and have remained focused on this exciting and challenging industry, becoming known world wide for our expertise.

The purchasing of coins, currency and bullion in South Carolina, North Carolina & Virginia became an out growth of our business in 2002. So many referrals from local friends, law firms, banks, and auctioneers convinced us that there was a need for a more personalized way to sell coins, currency and bullion.

We offer appraisal services. We do verbal as well as written appraisals. We have provided appraisals for Estates, Central Banks, Museums, SEC filings, and collectors for insurance purposes. From one coin to a whole collection we can meet your appraisal needs, for a nominal fee.

We buy coins and currency. No collection is too small or large. We have the knowledge as well as unlimited capital, to handle any size collection. We travel worldwide and will meet you in your hometown or country to purchase your coins or currency!
